As I sit and think of that teacher that has influenced my life in the most positive way, I am brought back to the fouth grade. Mr. Vicent was the teacher and we were his first class. He never taught before, was revved up, and ready to go. He had a lot of energy and was prepared to teach. Throughout the year I felt her love and care for the students.
He would do whatever it took to help us learn. He was more than willing to stay after school with us and tutor us until we understood. He made learning fun for us. We would play games that helped us and he would always reward us. I remember learning so much in her class. I was excited about school in the fourth grade. I always couldn’t wait to get there in the morning.
He has influenced me to follow my passion for children and to go into the teaching field. I now wish to become a good teacher and to be just as good to my students as Vicent was to us.
My worst teacher I could say was my History teacher. This teacher will spend the entire period teacher on her desk, just telling us to read so and so page and then she will begin to talk about something that had nothing to do with the subject we just read.
She had some pupils who were their favourites of the class and she don't minded the others. When she went into the class she started to speak onnly with her favourites. I think that a teacher shouldn't have preferences with his students. They have to be neutral with the persons and try to help us at all.
In conclusion I think that a great teacher should be a teacher that challenges ones thinking and help their students to grow each day as individual ready to face society.
